Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron

Lindsay Lohan starred as the film’s main character, Cady Heron, who moved to Evanston after living her first 16 years in Africa. She somehow finds herself best pals (kind of) with the Plastics and then takes down North Shore’s queen bee; Regina George.

Before Mean Girls, Lindsay, now 37, had already made a name for herself after starring in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap.

After Mean Girls, she continued her streak of acting success, starring in several high-profile movies such as Freaky Friday and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

However, she faced some personal and professional challenges in the years that followed, like being sent to prison for various offences, which drew significant media attention.

In recent years, Lindsay has changed her life around by shifting her focus towards entrepreneurship and has been involved in various business ventures, including opening a beach club in Mykonos, Greece.

More recently in July 2023, the actress welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Luai with her husband Bader Shammas.

Rachel McAdams as Regina George

Since starring in the critically acclaimed film, Rachel went on to solidify herself as one of Hollywood‘s most respected actresses.

Following Mean Girls, she took on diverse roles in both independent and blockbuster films, showcasing her remarkable range, with performances in films like The Notebook, Spotlight, and Doctor Strange earning her awards and a loyal fan base.

Today, she keeps her private life pretty out of the way from the beady public eye.

What we do know is that she shares two children with her partner Jamie Linden.

Amanda Seyfried as Karen Smith

Amanda Seyfried portrayed the lovable but ditzy character of Karen Smith in Mean Girls.

Much like her fellow plastics, she has also lapped up the stardom and success that came off the back of starring in the hit teen comedy.

Following her breakout role as Karen, Amanda’s talent and charisma propelled her to stardom and she has since delivered captivating performances in a wide range of box office hits, from musicals like the Mamma Mia! franchise to award-winning films like Les Misérables and Mank.

In 2017 the actress married Thomas Sadoski and the pair share two children; Nina, six, and Thomas, two together.

Lacey Chabert as Gretchen Wieners

Lacey Chabert won the hearts of fans with her portrayal of Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls and has continued to make her mark in the entertainment industry for years after.

Post-Mean Girls, the actress has lent her voice to several animated projects, most notably as the voice of Eliza Thornberry in the animated series The Wild Thornberrys.

She’s also had a successful career in Hallmark Channel movies, becoming a beloved figure in the world of holiday-themed films.

In 2013 Lacey tied the knot with husband David Nehdar, a fellow actor and businessman and the two share a daughter, Julia, together.
